EME News: German European indoor champion Ariane Friedrich will not jump this Saturday at Arnstadt High Jump meet with music. It is because her back pain and problems with back nerves.  She plans to be back this indoor season at national championships end of the month in Karlsruhe. In the meantime Blanka Vlasic camp confirmed for Croatian media, the world champion will be ready to jump on Saturday. “No reason for panic. Blanka has felt the consequences of virus, but it should not affect the indoor season,” her father Josko Vlasic was quoted by Jutarnji List. Vlasic will jump in Arnstadt second time this winter after world leading 201 in Trinec on January 26. After that she travels to Stockholm for GE-Galan on February 10.
